Cellar to cinema, office & lounge
Full below-ground basement conversion beneath an existing Hale property — structural underpinning, tanking and waterproofing, services and finished living space including a cinema room, home office and lounge. One of several basement projects we have delivered across Hale, Bowdon, Altrincham and the wider Cheshire area.
Empty plot to finished family home
The whole arc of the build in one pass — empty birch-lined plot, structure going up in knapped flint and red brick under scaffolding, then the finished two-storey detached in daylight: red brick quoins, horizontal brick bands, arched brick window heads, slate roof with chimney, oak porch, white windows and a gravel drive.

1930s detached, taken back to brick and rebuilt
One house, start to finish, in three chapters that play straight through. Before — the original 1930s brick detached with its white garage door, round into the rear garden where the footings and first courses of the new extension are going up. During — stripped-back rooms with new stud walls and fresh plaster, new black-framed windows, the kitchen still in protective film, and the open-plan extension with roof lights and bi-folds being fitted. Finished — the white rendered front with its oak-framed porch and oak garage door, in through the bi-folds to the bright open-plan kitchen with roof lights, white island and oak table, past the oak staircase and out to the rear elevation and lawn on handover day.

A floor built around a wall of records
Cat B office fit-out for Sentric Music, a music rights business in Liverpool: bespoke chain-and-globe feature ceiling, high-back acoustic booths, a boardroom with operable wall, meeting suite named after tracks, and a staff kitchen and social space built out from a bare floor.

Steel-framed glazing, a parquet hallway and a kitchen under glass
Two completed homes in one pass. Out on the patio looking back at a brick rear extension with black steel-framed glazed doors and a fixed glazed panel that follows the roofline, then inside — a panelled hallway in herringbone parquet under a brass globe pendant, an open-plan kitchen and island beneath a sloping glass roof, and a finished bedroom with built-in wardrobes. Extension, structural opening, glazing, kitchen and full internal refurbishment.

Walkthrough of a Cheshire housing development in build — site set-out, foundations and ground slabs down with services in place, structure to follow. We take schemes of two to thirty plots across Cheshire and Greater Manchester, both as a build contractor and in joint-venture with landowners.

Rear extension to a brick semi in Didsbury, opened to the garden through minimal-frame sliding doors under a run of roof lights. Full kitchen install around a bookmatched marble island with pendant lighting and a glazed splashback onto the planting, plus a new staircase. Cut as a reel with sound — unmute to hear it.

As a 2026 working guide, a new basement beneath an existing house runs around £3,000–£5,000 per square metre of finished floor area, excluding VAT, professional fees and abnormals. Ground conditions, the water table and how much underpinning the existing structure needs move the number most, which is why anyone quoting a single figure before seeing the site is guessing.
