Conversions turn a building that no longer earns into one that does: offices into apartments, redundant commercial space into homes, and mixed change-of-use schemes. Many now proceed under permitted development rights such as Class MA, which lets suitable commercial premises become residential without a full planning application, though prior approval and building regulations still apply.
We handle the whole conversion: structural alterations, new floors and cores, services, fire compartmentation, acoustics, insulation and the finishes that make the space lettable or saleable.
